I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil; No surface, whether it be paper or the walls of my house, was safe from my doodles. Eventually, my creativity drove me to more mediums to play with, so I began using clay, paints, any material I could get my hands on. Now I create 3D illustrations of my favorite topic: monsters, and continue filling spaces around me with wacky characters.
After getting my BFA in ceramics and illustration from Maryland Institute College of art, I began seeking more art opportunities to expand my horizon. I had ceramics pieces exhibited at shows such as the Harford 100-Mile Biennial Exhibition at Chesapeake Gallery in Harford Community College and 2024 Academy Center of the Arts Annual National Juried Art Exhibition. I continued drawing illustrations at my home studio in Maryland, while I continued my ceramics journey as a kiln tech at VISARTS.
What's next for me? I want to continue making art that brings much needed humor into our daily lives. Because what’s more fun than imagining a bunch of goofy monsters around us?
